The Vista a Cantera viewpoint, in the municipality of Rodeiro, is located in a natural setting surrounded by woodland, very close to the parish church of San Xiao de Pedroso. Situated at a certain altitude, the viewpoint offers a suitable place to stop and enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings, with trees providing shade and coolness.
From this point, wide panoramic views can be enjoyed over the hills of the Deza region, with gentle slopes and dense forests that define the landscape of inland Galicia. The site is also very close to the Arnego River, which flows through deep valleys, adding a contrast of water and mountains that enriches the scenery.
As its name suggests, the viewpoint offers a direct view of the quarries located in the area around Lalín, an element that adds geological and visual interest to the landscape. The combination of altitude, mountainous scenery and forest surroundings makes this viewpoint an ideal place to observe the Deza region and take a break while exploring the municipality of Rodeiro.
