A Casa do Avó was built at the beginning of the 20th century and restored and adapted as rural accommodation in 2002, incorporating all modern comforts while preserving its Galician essence at all times. Its decoration combines restored family pieces and furniture from the same period, carefully preserved for their historical value and maintained for their functionality.
Located in the peaceful village of Codeseda, it has six double rooms, all outward-facing, with private bathroom, heating and television. Each bedroom is named after a native flower in tribute to the grandmother (avoa), who was passionate about her garden, and each room has its own distinct character.
The house offers a spacious and welcoming lounge with a fireplace, as well as a room dedicated to reading and board games. It also has a large kitchen and a dining room with direct access to the patio, where the barbecue and ping-pong table are located. In the garden, surrounded by fruit trees, there is a swimming pool, ideal for enjoying the summer months. Beside it stands a traditional Galician hórreo and a children’s swing area.
